The Carlton Bulldogs girls basketball team made the short trip down I 35 to Barnum MN to take on the Bombers in a Polar League Conference match-up Thursday January 17th. It was a tough battle in the first half with Barnum having a 7 point lead at halftime 33-26 over the visiting Bulldogs.

In the second half the Bulldogs tightened up their defense allowing the Bombers to score only 2 more points than them 27-25. It was Barnum’s defense and the unstoppable Jordyn Marine from down low that helped the Bombers win at home with a score of 60-51.

With the win Barnum improves to 8-7 while Carlton falls to 10-6
