Duluth East Advances To Finals

The top-seeded Duluth East Greyhounds advanced to the Section 7AA Finals on Thursday night, narrowly escaping the fifth seeded Forest Lake Rangers by a score of 1-0.

Duluth East’s Seth Hoffman scored a goal late in the second half to send them to the Section Championship game for the second consecutive season.

The Greyhounds, who remain a perfect 16-0-2 on the season, will take on the Blaine Bengals (11-6-1) in the Section Finals. The Greyhounds topped the Bengals 5-0 early in the regular season.

The two teams will play for the Section crown on October 16th at Duluth East. The start time is TBA.
