Bulldogs Notch 16th Straight Victory

The Carlton Bulldogs have not lost a game since September 15th, rallying off 16 consecutive wins after beating Cromwell, three sets to one.

The Bulldogs lost the first set, 25-21, but followed it up with 25-17, 25-22, and 25-17 wins to secure the victory.

Taylor Nelson recorded 19 kills for the Bulldogs, while Abby Mickle tallied 12 kills. Brynne Mickle had an impressive 40 set assists in the victory.

In the loss for the Cardinals, Shaily Hakamaki notched 11 kills and added five blocks. Zayde Smith had 20 set assists.

With the win, the Bulldogs move to 22-2 on the season. Carlton also remains unbeaten in conference play with a 7-0 record. They will play again on October 15th when they welcome the McGregor Mercs (4-16) to town.

The Cardinals fall to 16-4 with the loss. They’ll look to bounce back on October 15th against Hill City (16-8).
