Lumberjacks Season Comes To An End

The Cloquet Lumberjacks baseball season came to an end Wednesday night, falling to Chisago Lakes, 8-6, in an elimination game.

The Lumberjacks advanced to the final three in Section 7AAA earlier in the day, edging out North Branch, 8-7, before falling to the Wildcats.

With the loss to Chisago Lakes, the Lumberjacks finished their season with a 16-8 season.

The Chisago Wildcats (14-8) will face the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (9-14) for the Section 7AAA title. The game will be played on June 7th at Wade Stadium. First pitch will be at 3:00pm.
