MLWR Topples South Ridge

The Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels remained hot on Tuesday night, topping the South Ridge Panthers 12-7 to win their third straight game.

Ian Coil got the win for the Rebels, throwing four innings, allowing four runs on zero hits while striking out two.

Offensively, Brendon Fogelberg went 2×5 with two runs batted in, while teammated Ben Dewey and Mark Fossum both went 2×4 in the win.

Jaxson Bennett led the Panthers offense, driving in three runs. Matt Clark recorded an RBI double in the loss.

The Rebels improve to 6-7 on the season and will look to extend their winning streak on May 18th when they travel to play Cook County (6-4). The Panthers fall to 9-4 on the year. They will look to bounce back against the Floodwood Polar Bears (0-7) on May 16th.
