By this time last season, teams had several games or meets under their belts, but the weather has had other plans. Teams are struggling to find places to play games, run meets, or practice their golf swing as the cool climate and snow continues to find the Northland.

Several baseball teams have started to get games in, resorting to plowing and shoveling fields off or scrambling to find time at Wade Stadium just to get outside.

Softball has yet to get any games in this season, while track has had one indoor meet.

The forecast of 40-50 degree weather throughout the next two weeks looks promising to melt more snow off the fields and let spring sports finally get outdoors.
