MLWR Wins On Senior Night

The Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels honor four seniors on Tuesday night and came away with the 84-55 win over the East Central Eagles.

The Rebels held a 39-27 lead at the half and continued their dominance in the second half, outscoring the Eagles 45-28 to secure the lopsidded victory.

Ryan Barrett led the way for the Rebels, scoring a game high 20 points. Also for the Rebels was Adam Dragicevich with 16 points, Avery Kosloski chipping in 15 points, and Thomas Gulso and Brady Watrin each notching 10 points. Rounding the scoring off for the Rebels was Carter Klund and Mason Olson with 4 points, Phillip Sheetz with 3 points, and Eli Werner with 2 points.

Barrett Peterson and Jace Schutt each scored 13 points in the loss for the Eagles. Topping it off was Henry Loew with 8 points, Colton Klocke and Laine peterson each with 6 points, Gunnar Fogt with 4 points, Terrance Rojas with 3 points, and Tim Roberts with 2 points.

The Rebels improve to 15-10 on the year and will cap off their regular season on March 2nd when they travel to play Rush City (5-16). The Eagles finish their regular season with a 10-15 record and will await their playoff seeding.
