Rails Fall In Nail Bitter

The Proctor Rails found themselves in a tight matchup on Friday night against the Greenway Raiders, falling narrowly by a score of 59-56.

The Raiders held a slight 22-21 advantage in the first half and did much of the same in the second half, outscoring Proctor 37-35 to secure the three point victory.

Greenway was led by Dylan DeChampeau who scored a game high 23 points. Gordon Skaar and Jace Hansen-Cochran also helped the Raiders offensively, scoring 16 and 13 points respectively.

John Pioro scored 21 points for the Rails, followed by Brody Eldien who scored 12 points. Also scoring was Cody Hampton and Dylan Hom, who each scored 7 points, while Carter DuMars added 5 points and Garrett Westendorf chipped in 4 points.

With the loss, the Rails drop to 15-7 on the season and will look to end their two game skid on February 13th when they face the Esko Eskomos (16-4). Greenway improved to 15-3 with the win.
