When the Rebels stopped West Central Area on their opening drive of the contest, little did anyone expect a little … Colton Little that is to explode for a 53 yard touchdown on the Rebels first play from scrimmage, but he did. That one play drive led to many good things as the Rebels cruised past the Knights 41-14 in the state quarterfinals Friday night in Brainerd.

Littles touchdown run was the first of four he would score Friday night, he added two 2nd quarter touchdowns in the second quarter with runs of 81 and 43 yards. Anakin Oswald punched a touchdown in from 2 yard out in the first quarter  and with those scores MLWR built up a 28-0 halftime lead.

Trent Juhl scored on a 8 yard touchdown run in the 3rd quarted and Little added his fourth touchdown of the game in the 4th quarter. Little finished with 315 yards rushing on the night while Juhl chipped in with 117 yards on the night.

With the victory the Rebels advance to the state semi finals next Friday morning at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis
