The Proctor Rails used hard nosed defense on Friday night, holding Duluth Denfeld to just 103 total yard. The Rails would walk away victorious, winning 25-6.

The Rails led 12-0 at the half after a 2 yard run from quarterback John Pioro and a 2 yard pass from Pioro to Brody Eldien.

Coming out of the half, the Hunters got on the board, with Dominic Klaas scoring from two yards out. Pioro would continue to pace the Rails offense, however, scoring on a 1 yard plunge and connecting with Blake Koski on a 15 yard pass to secure the 25-6 win for the Rails.

With the win, the Rails move to 4-1 on the season. They will be back on the gridiron on October 6th when they travel to play the Cloquet Lumberjacks. The Hunters drop to 0-5 on the year and will look to pick up their first win on October 6th when they travel to play North Branch.
