Cloquet wins Battle of Unbeaten’s

The Cloquet Lumberjacks remained unbeaten Friday night as the Lumberjacks raced out to a 26-8 lead then held on following some untimely turnovers to top the Vikings of North Branch 32-28 in a section 7AAAA battle.

Spencer Wehr rushed for two touchdowns, while quarterback Tim Porkornowski threw for on touchdown and added one on the ground in the win.

Cloquet moves to 4-0 with the win and will host Grand Rapids next Friday night in Cloquet.
