Johnson Leads Cromwell over Grizzles

Cromwell’s senior running back Nic Johnson had a career night Friday night as he rushed for four touchdowns and had 279 yards rushing to lead the Cardinals to a 37-8 win in Cromwell.

Johnson had touchdown runs of 48, 11, 84, and 81 yards on the night. Cameron Cahoon added a rushing touchdown of 3 yards midway into the 3rd quarter.

Cromwell looking to defend its section 5 9-man championship looked very good in week one considering the Cardinals lost 12 seniors from last years squad.
