South Ridge Starts Season 6-0

The South Ridge Panthers have gotten off to a hot start in the 2017 baseball season. The Panthers moved to 6-0 on the season Tuesday night after fighting off the Barnum Bomber, 6-3.

Mark Lisic got the win over the Bombers on Tuesday night, pitching 4 innings, allowing one run on two hits, while striking out seven batters. Lisic also went 2-4 at the plate and score two runs.

Also in the win, Christian Houle went 3-4 with two doubles and four RBI’s and Elias Tuominen who went 2-3 with two runs scored.

Cody Johnson got the loss for the Bombers, allowing four runs on five hits in just 2.2 innings pitched.

The Panthers, who are 6-0, will look to remain perfect on the season when they host the Esko Eskomos (5-2) on April 27th. The Bombers are now 3-2 on the year and will be back in action on April 28th against the McGregor Mercs (1-5).
