The Section 7A softball is almost underway, with games beginning on April 8th.

The Carlton Bulldogs, who went 17-8 a year ago, will look to make it to the Section finals this season. Led by a large and talented freshman group, the Bulldogs will open their season up on April 8th in a double header against Mayern Luthern and West Luthern.

The Barnum Bombers went 9-11 a year ago and will look to improve on that behind a junior heavy roster. The Bombers begin their season on April 12th when they travel to play the Cloquet Lumberjacks.

The Floodwood Polar Bears went 0-16 last season. They will look to get their first win out of the way early when they open their season up on April 10th against North Woods.

The South Ridge Panthers had a 16-6 record last season and they will look to do much of the same this season. The Panthers will rely on their junior group this season and open their year up on April 7th against the Cherry Tigers.

The Cherry Tigers will seek to advance to the State Tournament for the 8th consecutive season this year after going 21-6 last year. The Tigers will have a youthful roster this season, however. They open their year up on April 7th against South Ridge.
