Hunters Take Wood City

Shondez Morris and Ben Gibson combined for 36 points to power Duluth Denfeld to a 59-48 victory over Cloquet in the Wood City Classic championship game Wednesday.

Morris scored 19 points and Gibson added 17 for the Hunters, who rebounded from a 30-24 deficit at the half.

Gibson scored a game-high 19 points and Morris added 11 as Duluth Denfeld topped Pine City 58-55 in a Wood City Classic opening-round game Tuesday. Caleb Gibson contributed 10 points and Tyrese Barnes nine for the Hunters, who led 29-18 at the half.
