Carlton’s Ojibway Scores 43 Points In Win

The Carlton Bulldogs traveled to play Northland on Monday night and were led by senior Tyler Ojibway, who poured in 43 points, including 7 three pointers, in the 105-87 victory.

The Bulldogs trailed Northland, 48-47 at halftime, but had a strong second half, outscoring the Eagles 58-33 to secure the 18 point victory.

In addition to Ojibway, Bulldog’s Waylon Lekander helped the cause with 22 points and Sam Macor added 20 points in the win. Also scoring was Matthew Hey with 8 points, Keijo Day with 4 points, Jackson Mickle and Nate Nilsen each with 3 points, and Ben Soderstrom rounding it out with 2 points.

In the loss for the Eagles, Zach Greene scored 31 points, Zain Myers scored 27 points, and Cooper Kovall added 21 points.

The Bulldogs are now 5-1 with the victory and will be back in action on December 22nd when they travel to play the Two Harbors Agates (2-2). The Northland Eagles drop to 2-4 on the season.
