Bulldogs Win 4th Straight

The Carlton Bulldogs won their home opener on Tuesday night, topping the Ogilvie Lions, 71-34, to win their 4th straight game.

The Bulldogs dominated from the opening tip, outscoring the Lions 38-16 in the 1st half and 33-18 in the second half.

The Bulldogs were powered by a balanced scoring attack, with a total of 12 players scoring in the win.

Sam Macor had a game high 12 points for the Bulldogs. Tyler Ojibway also found himself in double figures with 10 points.

Also helping the Bulldogs to victory was Chase Parker with 9 points, while Matt Hey, Waylon Lekander, and Scott Rousseau all added 7 points each. Eric Soderstrom would add 6 points, Ben Soderstrom added 4 points, Nate Nilsen chipped in 3 points, and Keijo Day, Jackson Mickle, and Jacob Santkuyl rounded it out with 2 each.

Jon Magaard led the way for the Lions in the loss with 11 points. Lorenzo Rodriguez chipped in 9, Gage Peterson added 6, Seth Linberg and Seth Lombard each had 3, and Andy Ripka topped it off with 2.

The Bulldogs, who are now 4-0 on the year, will host the McGregor Mercs (4-1) on December 16th. The Lions fall to 0-5 on the year.
