Bulldogs Top Cardinals

The Carlton Bulldogs traveled to Cromwell to take on the Cardinals. The Bulldogs would spoil the Cardinals home opener, leaving with the 51-42 victory.

The Bulldogs held a 25-18 advantage at the half and continued to lead throughout the second half, as the Bulldogs outscored the Cardinals 26-24 to hold onto the 9 point victory.

Tyler Ojibway led the way for the Bulldogs, scoring a team high 16 points in the win. Matthew Hey added 8 points, while Eric Soderstrom and Sam Macor both chipped in 7 in the win. Also scoring was Keijo Day with 6 points, Waylon Lekander with 3, and Jackson Mickle and Chase Parker both with 2.

In the loss for the Cardinals, Zion Smith scored a game high 17 points. Samuel Kemper added 8 points, Marcus Pocernich chipped in 6, Cameron Cahoon scored 4, Alex Striowski and Ryan Juntunen each added 3, and Sawyer Strelnieks topped it off with 2.

The Bulldogs are now 2-0 on the young season and will look for another win on December 12th when they travel to play the East Central Eagles. The Cardinals fall to 0-2 on the year and will search for their first win on December 10th when they play Sebeka.
