Cromwell Advances to Semi Finals

The Cromwell Cardinals defeated the Ely Timberwolves, 35-7, Friday Night at Public School Stadium to advance to the 9-man State semi-finals. They will play Thursday Morning at 11:30 at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Zion Smith threw for 148 yards on just five attempt, three of them resulting in touchdowns. He also rushed for 86 yards. On the defensive side of the ball, Smith recording a team high 19 tackles and also recorded an interception in the win.

The Cardinals (12-0) advance to the semi-finals with the win, where they will meet the Cleveland Clippers, who are also 12-0 on the season. They will square off on Thursday, November 17th at US Bank Stadium. Kick off will be at 11:30am.
