Hermantown Returns To State Tournament

In an intense 5-set game, the Hermantown Hawks survived to fight another day, as they took down Rush City 21-25, 26-24, 14-25, 25-23, 15-13.

After dropping the opener, the Hawks kept fighting the entire match, making multiple rallies, forcing the issue.

Senior Jordyn Thomas totaled 30 set-assist, along with 12 kills, while Sierra Bolen tallied 16 total kills for the Hawks.

Hermantown will next play this Thursday at Xcel Energy Center in St.Paul in the AA quarterfinal of the state tournament.
