Cromwell Dominates Carlton in 59-0 Win

Cromwell had eight different players score a touchdown Friday night, as they took down the visiting Carlton Bulldogs.

The Cardinals exploded for 26 points in the first quarter.  Eli Warpula ran in a 9-yard score, Sam Kemper hauled in a 14-yard pass from Quarteback Zion Smith, Dillion Hoff rushed for a quick 5-yard run, and Sawyer Strelnieks had a 33-yard touchdown dash all in the first.

Hoff added his second rushing score in the second quarter on a 7-yard run, and Nic Johnson followed that with a 47-yard score on the ground of his own.

Smith added to the Cardinal lead with a 9-yard rushing touchdown, giving Cromwell a big 47-0 lead at halftime.

Wyatt Susa scored the only touchdown for Cromwell in the third quarter on a 1-yard run for six.

The Cardinals added one more touchdown in the fourth quarter thanks to a 31-yard touchdown toss from Drew Libbon to Kannon Korpela, leading to the 59-0 final, as Carlton would never muster a score the entire game.

Cromwell advances to 6-0 on the season, while Carlton falls to 0-6.

The Cards will play McGregor on Friday as they look to stay undefeated, and the Bulldogs will host Floodwood as they try to add their first win of the year.
