Hermantown Wins Crosby Tournament

The Hermantown Hawks Girls Volleyball team went undefeated to win the Crosby-Ironton Girls Volleyball Tournament Saturday in Crosby.

The Hawks won four straight matches to capture the Tournament with with a 2-0 victory over Pine River-Backus in the championship match.

Hermantown opened the day with wins in pool play over with wins over Onamia and Eveleth-Gilbert.

The Hawks then defeated Moose Lake-Willow River in the championship round before going on to take the title.

The Rebels finished third with a win over Crosby-Ironton.

Barnum finished 6th overall.

The Hawks did not lose a set the entire day winning 8 straight matches.
