Two Harbors Dominates Esko, Snaps Losing Streak

The Esko Eskomos and Two Harbors Agates faced off Friday night in Two Harbors, as the Agates blanked the Eskimos 30-0.

Chad Nordean had three touchdowns on the night, piling up 126 rushing yards on 13 carries.  The Agates finished with 395 rushing yards as a team.

Nordean ran for two scores in the first quarter, helping prop the Agates to a 12-0 lead after the first.

Nordean would tally his third touchdown in the second quarter on a 2-yard run. At halftime, Two Harbors would hold a 20-0 lead.

The only score in the third quarter would be a 32-yard field goal courtesy of Ryan Darsow.

In the fourth quarter, Ian Johnson scored on a quick 4-yard rush to push the lead for the Agates 30-0, snapping an 8-game losing streak to Esko.

The Eskomos will look to rebound next Friday, as they will host Moose Lake/Willow River.  Two Harbors will travel to International Falls next week as they look to add another win to their record.
