Cloquet Falls In Section Finals

The Cloquet Lumberjacks fell in the Section 7A team finals on Saturday afternoon, falling 6 matches to 1 against Hibbing.

The Lumberjacks advanced to the section finals by first toppling Duluth Denfeld 7-0 on Thursday evening. Next the Lumberjacks would edge the Virginia Blue Devils, 4 matches to 3 on Saturday morning before falling to the Hibbing Bluejackets 6 matches to 1 in the Section 7A Finals later that afternoon.].

The Bluejackets advanced to the section finals by shutting down Eveleth-Gilbert 7 matches to 0 and beating the Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers 6 matches to 1 before toppling Cloquet in the Finals.

The Lumberjacks ended their season with a 17-2 record. The Bluestreaks are now 14-5 and are still awaiting their scheduled opponent for the State Tournament.
