Floodwood Sneaks Past Barnum

The Floodwood Polar Bears traveled to take on the Barnum Bombers on Tuesday evening, winning 5-4 in 8 innings to notch their 4th win of the year.

Tanner Heggedahl got the win for the Polar Bears, pitching 3 innings allowing just one hit, while striking out 2. Alex Larson powered the offense for the Polar Bears as he went 2-5 with a run scored in the win.

Taking the loss for the Bombers was Hunter Lake who tossed 8 innings, allowing 5 runs on 6 hits while striking out 7. Lake also led the offense, going 2-4 with a home run and an RBI.

The Polar Bears now improve to 4-6 on the year and will be back in action on May 19th when they travel to play Mountain Iron-Buhl. The Bombers drop to 7-7 on the season and will look to bound back on May 19th when they travel to play Ogilvie.
