The North Branch Vikings scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to break a 1-0 Cloquet lead then held on to beat Cloquet 3-2 in a sectional match up in North Branch Saturday afternoon.

The Lumberjacks scored a unearned run in the top of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead which held till the Vikings rallied and scored 3 unearned runs in the bottom of the 6th to take a 3-1 lead.

Cloquet put runners on 2nd and 3rd base with no outs in the top of the 7th but managed only to score one run.

Cloquet falls to 4-9 and will play at Aitkin on Friday.
