Nelson Leads Lumberjacks over Superior

Taylor Nelson tallied five points Monday night including a hat trick as the Lumberjacks defeated the Superior Spartans 8-0 in the shut out win at the Superior Ice Arena in Superior.

Nelson scored her goals evenly as she scored one in each period including the games first and last goal on the night. Taylor also assisted on two goals from Kiana Bender.

Bender who scored two goals also added two assists for a total of four points, and Makayla Baker had four assists in the Lumberjacks victory.

Erin Genereau stopped all 12 shots in the shutout victory, while Autumn Siers finished with 36 saves on the night.
