Myer Lifts Spartans Over Undefeated Esko

University of Minnesota-Duluth commit Brandon Myer had a game-high 23 points in his teams 54-49 victory over the previously unbeaten Eskomos of Esko Tuesday Night.

The Host Spartans led by double digits for most of the first half, as they began the game on a nice 7-0 run.  Esko would make the second half interesting though, scraping away at that double digit lead to only lose by five.

Also aiding in the Spartan win was Brett Lozon, who chipped in 15 points.

Esko falls to 4-1 on the young season, while Superior goes to 3-1.

Esko will next travel to International Falls as they look to add another win, while the Spartans will play visitor to Duluth Marshall.
