Cromwell Upends Barnum

The Cromwell Cardinals took on the Barnum Bombers on Monday night. The Cardinals flew past the Bombers, winning 92-56.

Cromwell got out to a large halftime lead, winning 48-29. The second half would be much of the same as the Cardinals outscored the Bombers 44-27 en route to the 92-56 victory.

Chelsea Swatek lead all scorers with 29 points, including 5 from beyond the arc. Bailey Gronner and Teana Hakamaki followed suit with 16 and 15 respectively for the Cardinals. Shaily Hakamaki also scored in double digits in the win, scoring 13 points. Rounding out the scoring for the Cardinals was Taya Hakamaki with 9, Kiiera Anderson with 4, and Andrea Hakamaki, Taylor Lehti, and Johanna Johnson all scoring 2.

In the loss for the Bombers, Emily Miletich scored 15 points, followed by Bailey Wheeler who scored 13. Liz Carlson, Britney Mike, and Mallory Agurkis all scored 6, Geanna Guillard added 4, and Kaitlyn Skutevik, Kendal Miletich, and Hailey O’Leary rounded it out scoring 2 points each.

The Cardinals move to 3-0 on the season, while the Bombers drop to 1-3. The Cardinals will be back in action on December 10th when they travel to play the Floodwood Polar Bears. The Bombers will play again on December 10th when they play Moose Lake Willow River on the road.
