Rails Roll Past Rebels

John Aase scored twice and added two assist while Jake Malec had one goal and four assists as the Proctor Rails rolled past the Moose Lake Area Rebels by a score of 9-3.

The Rails started fast notching three first period goals as Jordan Linder, Reid Morin and Malec all scored giving the Rails a 3-0 lead after one period.

Tanner Bergman, Derek Dahlgren, and Aase all scored for Proctor in the second period while Bryceton Butkiewicz scored twice for the Rebels who trailed by a score of 6-2 after two periods of play.

Evan O’Connor and Travis Gunderson made it 8-2, before Butkiewicz scored his third goal of the contest to make it 8-3. Aase scored last in the period for the final score of the game to make it a six goal victory.

Braxton Sathers was the winning goalie as he stopped 28 shots in the win. Logan McNulty took the loss for the Rebels.
