Silver Bay hosted the Carlton Bulldogs Friday night, as they were led by Tanner Ketola, who ran for 3 touchdowns and threw another, as the Mariners won 47-19.

Tanner Ketola got things going early, as he rushed for a 21-yard score early. Carlton would then be able to answer with some points of their own, as Senior Alex Bodin nailed a 27-yard field goal to narrow the deficit.

Ketola would run for touchdown number two, as he scampered 24 yards. Matt Barker would then later score for the Mariners, as he caught a 6-yard pass from Ketola. The Bulldogs would soon after see Myles O’leary run it in from six yards out.

Ketola would get two more touchdowns on the night, both runs. Michael Fischer of Silver Bay would also score on a 57-yard dash for six. Fischer ended the night with 124 yards on the ground. Nathan Bauck would get the Mariners final score, running 40 yards to the end zone.

Marshall Bennett of Carlton found the end zone before it was all said and done, plunging it in from the 1-yard line to get the final score to 47-19.

The Bulldogs finish up the season 1-7 and look to make some noise in the playoffs. The Mariners finish on a 5 game win streak, ending with a record of 6-1 ready for playoffs as well.
