Derek Dahlgren nailed the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute to give the Rails the victory.

 

Michael Petoletti of Proctor had 13 saves, as Nic Semaan ended with 9 for Marshall.

 

Superior 2

Duluth Denfeld 1

 

There was no scoring in the first two halves of play, until Logan Kittelson of Superior scored in the 83rd minute in the first overtime. Superior would answer their own goal with another, as it was Kittelson again scoring in the 84th minute.

 

Andrew Washechek scored for Superior in the 86th minute.

 

 

Girls Soccer:

 

Hermantown 0

Duluth East 1

 

Gretta Worley scored the loan goal of the game for Duluth east in the 21st minute to earn her team the win.

 

Anna Mayer had 6 saves for Duluth East, while Carly Zierden had 9 for the Hawks.

 

Duluth Marshall 4

Grand Rapids 1

 

Kelly Alworth had 2 goals in the first half of play, as Duluth Marshall never looked back after gaining the fast lead. Katelyn Aultman scored in the 59th minute for Grand Rapids to give her team the only goal on the night.

 

Sarah Fjeran scored for Marshall in the 65th minute, while Alworth got herself the hat trick as she scored in the 70th minute.

 

Anna Thickens had 3 saves for Marshall.

 

Two Harbors 5

Mesabi East Area 0

 

In the first half Stephanie Williams scored for the Agates in the 28th minute. Sami Szendrey also scored in the 35th minute, and 36th minute.

 

Courtney Aug scored in the 44th minute to get things going in the second half for the Agates. Erika Furo rounded it out with a goal in the 52nd minute.

 

Tori Wallner had 13 saves for Mesabi in the loss. Carina Hebl had 2, and Grace Hietala had 1 for Two Harbors.
