Boys Soccer:

 

Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 0

Hermantown 4

 

Siji Gonzalez started it off for the Hawks as he scored the first goal of the game I the 8th minute. Daniel Hedstrom would score off a penalty kick in the 28th minute for Hermantown. Ryan Lenz would score before the half in the 39th minute for the 3-0 lead.

 

Hedstrom would net his second goal on another penalty kick in the 48th. Jay Boder ended with 8 saves for CEC, as Devin Lenz finished with 6 for Hermantown.

 

Duluth Denfeld 7

North Branch 1

 

Denfeld scored six goals in the first half as they cruised to a win. Chase Hagert scored the loan goal for North Branch in the 47th minute of play. Marques Jones finished with two goals to help lead the Hunters.

 

Nate Regas and Jon Harstad both ended with 2 saves for Denfeld.

 

Girls Soccer:

 

Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 3

Hermantown 0

 

Kayla Baker of CEC scored a goal in the 13th minute to give her team the early lead. Kendra Kelley then netted a goal in the 28th minute. Kelley would get her second goal of the night in the 77th minute.

 

Ali Chalberg ended with 11 saves for CEC. Carly Zieden of Hermantown had 10.

 

Duluth Marshall 2

Chisago Lakes Area 0

 

Maren Friday scored right out of the gate, as her goal was the only one in the half. In the second half it was Katie Farrell padding the lead as she scored in the 47th minute in the win.

 

Anna Thickens had 8 saves for Marshall, as Emily Thompson ended with 4 saves for Chisago Lakes Area.

 

Esko 4

Proctor 2

 

Lexie DeWall scored in the 10th minute for Proctor, but Karlie Kulas of Esko would answer right back, scoring back-to-back goals in the 12th, and 38th minutes of play.

DeWall would net her second goal of her own in the 57th minute, but Esko would ultimately prevail, getting two goals late to take the win.

Macy Sunnarborg had 11 saves for Esko, as Chiara DeLuca ended with 13 saves for Proctor.

 

Two Harbors 2

Zimmerman 0

 

In the 13th minute of play, it Courtney Aug scored to give Two Harbors the quick lead. Jesse Juenemann scored the second goal for the Agates in the 53rd minute in the second half.

 

Carina Hebl ended with 4 saves for the Agates in the winning effort.

 

Mesabi East Area 1

Crookston 0

 

Getting the only goal on the night for either team was Jewelle Jacklen, as she scored in the 60th minute of play.

 

Tori Wallner had 8 saves for Mesabi, and Brita Fagerlung finished with 9 for Crookston.
