Bulldogs Fox Places At 65th Swain Invitational

The 65th Swain Invitational Cross Country meet took place on Saturday in Duluth at the Enger Park Golf Course. Many local names placed in the event.

In Class AA boys, the Cloquet Lumberjacks took 3rd place as a team. Isaac Boedigheimer placed 4th for the Lumberjacks, finishing in 16:33. The Duluth East Greyhounds placed 8th as a team with Kendall Hill placing 5th with a time of 16:36.

On the girls side for Class AA, Duluth East placed 2nd as a team. Molly Weberg finished in 7th for the Greyhounds, finishing with a time of 19:29. Cloquets Anja Maijala placed 4th overall, finishing in 19:17.

In the Class A boys, Jake Paron of Cook County-Two Harbors placed 8th with a final time of 16:45.

For the Class A girls, the South Ridge Panthers placed 6th as a team. Carltons Erika Fox took 2nd place, finishing with an impressive 19:16 time. Annika Voss of Proctor placed 10th, finishing in 20:03.
