In a grueling five set match the Proctor Rails volleyball team had just enough gas in the tank to slip away with a 3-2 win over Superior in Lake Superior Conference play on Thursday night.

The Rails won by scores of; 25-18, 21-25, 25-23, 18-25 and 18-16.

The Rails had a plethora of heroes in the match with Marissa Larson, Abby Rohweder, Erika Anderson, Maddy Horvath and Taylor Myers all providing highlight reel moments during the marathon affair.

Larson had nine kills, 15-digs and 29 set assists. Rohweder had seven kills, seven digs and seven blocks. Anderson finished with three ace serves, 11 kills, two blocks and five digs.

Horvath recorded two ace serves, eight kills, two blocks and eight digs and Myeres had five kills, two ace serves and 13 digs.
