It was another exciting night in the Northland for volleyball as there were 6 match ups on the evening.

Cloquet and Duluth East took battle on Tuesday night, with the Lumberjacks squeaking out the victory in 5 matches, winning the 2nd, 4th, and 5th matches. East won the first match 25-21, but Cloquet responded with a 25-22 win. East would grab another match win, this time winning 25-19, but Cloquet would win the next two, 25-18 and 15-9 to move to 1-0 on the year. Anna Hanmeyer and Kassidy Steen led the Lumberjacks with 14 and 13 kills respectively.

Duluth Marshall would come out victorious over Silver Bay, topping them in three consecutive matches, winning 25-15, 25-15, and 25-17. Marshall was led by Kate Kleinschmidt who had 8 kills and also racked up 12 digs, 4 set assists, and 2 blocks in the win to move to 1-2 on the year.

Duluth Denfeld would fall to Greenway in 3 sets, falling to 0-2 on the young season.

Hermantown topped Esko in 4 matches, winning match one 25-15, dropping the second match 23-25, and winning the next two 25-23 and 25-19. Hannah Mihalik led the Hawks with 14 kills. The Hawks are now 2-0 on the season.

Two Harbors fell to Virginia in three consecutive matches, losing 25-12, 25-8, and 25-13. Two Harbors was led by Ayla Lemke, who had 7 kills and 2 blocks in the loss. The Agates are now 0-2 on the year.

Wrenshall was victorious over Polar League foe, the Barnum Bombers, sweeping them 3-0. The Wrens won 25-23, 25-16, and 25-19 to move to 2-0 on the year. They were powered by Tate Swanson who tallied 9 kills and 3 blocks.
