Hawks Capture Third

Breanna Thomas earned a shutout win to ensure Hermantown won the Class AA Third Place game. She allowed just three New Ulm hits as the Hawks put up five runs offensively.

The scoring was started in the second when the Hawks scored twice. They tacked on a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth to take a 5-0 lead and thats where the contest would end.

Hermantown had four players finish with two hits each, Brook Dahlin, Jordyn Thomas, Kailey and Hannah Mihalik with two hits drove the Hawks offensively

 

Dahlin also added two RBI’s in the win, Hannah Mihalik, Tess Johnson, and Jillayne Gilbert also drove in runs for Hermantown.
