Carlton Comes One Game Short

The Carlton Bulldogs came up one game shy of the section 7A title came Tuesday at Braun Park in Cloquet. The Bulldogs who needed to pick up three wins Tuesday came up one short as the Bulldogs fell to Cherry by a score of 3-1 to see their season end.

The Bulldogs defeated Nashwauk-Keewatin 2-1 in 8 innings to start the afternoon, and that was followed by a 3-1 win over South Ridge to move on to face Cherry who fell to Greenway 23-22 in what was more of a football score then softball.
