Ally Bode continued with her fine performances this spring on the mound as she added another win to her season total as the Rebels beat the Dragons of Pine City 15-1 in 5 innings in Willow River on Tuesday afternoon.

 

Bode threw a two hitter while striking out 4 and walking only one in the 14 run win. Bode also added three hits including a double and she drove in 4 runs, while scoring 2 runs int he victory.

 

Lauren Pederson added three hits in the win as she scored three runs with a double and a RBI. The Rebels started fast with a 8 run first inning as they easily picked up the opening round win.

 

Josie Benzie, Marisa Mikrot, and Jessica Paul all finished with two hits on the afternoon and each had at least one RBI.

 

The Rebels with the win improve to 17-4 this season as they advance to the section 7AA quarterfinal tournament beginning Thursday at Braun Park in Cloquet.

 

The Rebels will face Polar League rival Two Harbors Thursday at 4 pm. The Rebels beat the Agates at the end of April by a score of 2-0 in Two Harbors.
