Cloquet tops Proctor

Abbey Wangen had three hits as the Lumberjacks capitalized on three Proctor errors Tuesday as the Lumberjacks beat the Proctor Rails by a score of 8-2 at Braun Park in Cloquet. Wangen also had a RBI double in the Cloquet win.

The game originally scheduled for Proctor was changed to Cloquet after two days of rain and wet conditions saw the Lumberjacks start fast as they scored two runs in the first inning and one in second and went on to the six run victory.

Kaylee McMillen picked up the victory for the Lumberjacks while Sarah Urban was the losing pitcher allowing only 3 earned runs.
