Lady Dogs Top Panthers

The Carlton Bulldogs traveled to take on the South Ridge Panthers on Thursday evening, coming away with the 7-2 victory.

Grace Macor was the winning pitcher for the Bulldogs, pitching a complete game, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 8 and walking 2. Hannah Benson would help Macor get the win by going 1-3 with 2 RBIs and scoring 3 times. Stacy Nelson went 2-3 with a double and 3 runs scored.

Mallory Thibault took the loss for the Panthers, pitching 7 innings, allowing 7 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 8 batters.

The Bulldogs improve to 10-2 on the season and will travel to take on Mesabi East on May 8th. The Panthers fall to 12-3 with the loss and will look to bounce back against Deer River on May 8th.
