Hermantown travelled to Superior in an LSC rematch with the Spartans taking the team match 5-2. Superior swept all four singles matches and the top doubles match to take the win.

In singles action Devon Forseth topped Isaac Hiner at first 6-4, 6-2 while at second Mike Johnson beat Reid Johnson 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 in a three set thriller.

Third saw Hank Kowalik top first year player Graham Halverson in another three set thriller 5-7, 6-4, 6-4. Finally, Jeff Smith topped first year player and senior Hunter Ballavance in an intense three setter 6-1, 2-6, 6-4.

In first doubles Kyle Gondik and Troy Naughton stopped senior Hawk captains Sam Edgerton and Mason Morris 6-1, 6-3.

Second and third doubles saw the Hawks take two wins as Siji Gonzalez and Joe DeFrance topped Kaleb Ullan and Alex Beebe 6-1, 6-2 with the thirds Pranav Aggarwal and James Lindberg topping Reed Rohnstrad and Jack Androski 6-2, 6-0.
