Superior Spartan Austin Arnovich knocked in the game winning run Thursday afternoon, on a single which put the Spartans in front as Superior beat the Marshall Hilltoppers by a score of 6-5.

Arnovich’s single knocked in Peyton Flanders who had singled to start the bottom of the sixth inning.

Austin Sears was the winning pitcher Thursday and Flanders who drove in the winning run finished 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI’s.

Tyler Cummings went 3-4 for the Toppers and had a RBI in the loss.
