Wilderness Fall in Opener

Adam Carlson stopped 22 shots and Adam Lovick scored one goal and assisted on two others as the Chill of Coulee Region jumped out in front 1-0 in the best of five series with a 4-2 victory at Northwoods Credit Union Arena Friday Night.

The Chill and the Wilderness were tied 1-1 after one period 2-2 after two periods but the Chill scored 2:39 into the third period to make it 3-2 and added an empty net goal late in the period for the road victory.

Nicholas Lehtimaki and Aaron Miller scored the playoff goals for the Wilderness in the loss and goalie Brock Kautz stopped 17 shots for the Wilderness in the loss.

Game two of the best of five series in Saturday night at 7:05 at Northwoods Credit Union Arena.
