Darian Romanko scored three goals for the Wilderness Saturday night, Michal Covach added a goal and 4 assists,  and goalie Ryan Anderson stopped 18 of 19 shots for his third win in his last four decisions as the Wilderness ended a two game losing streak and bounced back from a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Chill Friday night in Cloquet.

In a penalty filled contest which saw 31 penalties with 116 minutes of penalty time, the Wilderness scored on 3 of 5 power plays int he victory.

Romanko scored the games first goal to give the Wilderness a 1-0 earl;y in the contest and Covach scored to make it a 2-0 lead after one period. The Wilderness added three second period goals as Romanko Aaron Miller, and Ivan Chukarov all tallied goals in the second period.

The Wilderness added three more int he third with goals coming from Tyler Cline, Daniel Litchke, and Romanko to give the Wilderness a seven goal victory.

Both teams meet again tonight to close out the regular season, and these two teams will also face one another as the playoffs will open on Friday April 10th at Northwoods Credit Union Arena.
