Rebels Fall in Quarterfinals

The Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels saw their hopes for a long section run in the 7AA playoffs come to an end on Saturday afternoon at UMD where the Tigers of Rush City ended the Rebels hopes with a 49-41 upset win as the Tigers beat the Rebels.

Moose Lake Willow River had beat the Tigers just two weeks ago but on Saturday the three seeded Tigers  came away with the win. Rush City led by one 16-15 at halftime and went on to win with a balanced attack seeing nine players score in the victory. Shawna Mell and Payton Ramberg led the Tigers with 10 points each.

Rebels senior Adri Jusczak led all scorers with 24 points in the loss as the Rebels season ends.
