Esko Wins In Season Finale

The Esko Eskomos traveled to take on the Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels in the season finale, topping them 55-49.

The Rebels led the Eskomos 27-21 at the half, but the Eskomos offense would be too much for the Rebels as they would be outscored 34-22, falling to Esko 55-49.

Leading the way for the Eskomos was Aaron Olson who notched 21 points, which including hitting 5 from beyond the arc. Jaxson Turner followed with 16 points, Derek Pantsar pitched in 9, Nate Johnson tallied 5, and Adam Trapp rounded it out with 4.

In the loss for the Rebels, Brad Fossum had a team high 14 points, Rex Janke pitched in 11, and Isaac Riihiluoma hit double digits with 10. Eric Prachar scored 8 in the loss and Charlie Adamczak topped it off with 6.

The Eskomos ended their regular season with a 19-7 record and snagged the #2 seed in the playoffs. They will host the #7 seeded Two Harbors Agates on February 24th with a tipoff of 7:00pm. The Rebels ended their season with a 13-13 record and will host the 6th seeded Rush City Tigers on February 24th at 7:00pm.
