Eskomos Throttle Rebels

The Esko Eskomos hosted the MLWR Rebels on Thursday night, toppling them 62-29 in the Conference match-up.

The Eskomos held a commanding 25-10 lead at the half and would continue their dominance in the second half, outscoring the Rebels 37-19, to secure the 33 point victory.

The Eskomos had a very balance scoring attack, with Mandi Dincau leading the way with 13 points, followed by Bailey Mudek and Molly Trapp who each had 12, and Ava Gonsorowski who hit double figures with 11. Also scoring in the victory was Ashley Bergerson with 6 points and Karlie Kulas and Kailee Kiminski topping it off with 4 each.

In the loss for the Rebels, Morgan Prachar had a team high 8 points. Jenna Ramberg pitched in 6, Lauren Ross added 4, Alley Bode chipped in 3, and Libbie Ring, Erika Kosloski, Adri Jusczak, and Ava Szczyrbak all had 2 points.

The Eskomos are now 21-3 on the season and will host the Duluth East Greyhounds on February 21st. The Rebels drop to 17-7 on the year and will be back in action on February 24th when they welcome the Cloquet Lumberjacks to town.
