FDL Tops LCA In High Scoring Affair

In a game that had a total of 208 points scored, the Fond du Lac Ogichida toppled the Lakeview Christian Academy Lions at the old Cotton school gymnasium, 116-92.

The Ogichida held a slim 53-50 lead heading into the locker rooms at half, but it would be the second half where they dominated the Lions, outscoring them 63-42 while on their way to the 116-92 victory.

Fond du Lac would get two phenomenal performances from Jordan Diver and Dexter Delille. Diver scored a team high 36 points and knocked down 6 from beyond the arch, while Delille notched 34 points in the victory. Justin Brown had a solid performance in the win, pitching in 22 points, Cameron Thompson and Lester Williamson each tallied 11, and Antonio Flores rounded it out with 2 points.

Bjorn Broman would have another terrific scoring performance in the loss, tallying 58 points which including 7 three pointers. Marc Chiu and Josh Klun would each hit double digits with 12 and 10 points respectively. Sam Easty pitched in 6, Ben Erickson scored 4, and Alec Johnson rounded it out with 2.

The Ogichida improve to 14-12 on the season and will not be back into action until the Section 7A playoffs. The Lions fall to 17-8 on the year and will play their season finale on February 21st when they take on Maranatha Christian.
