The Moose Lake Willow River Rebels led by Adri Jusczak’s 22 first half points beat the Virginia Blue Devils Monday night by a score of  59-25 at Moose Lake High School.

Jusczak’s first half scoring barrage led the Rebels to a 36-12 half time lead as the Rebels picked up their 12th win of the season and won their 7th straight game.

The Rebels fast start gave them another important sectional victory for Moose Lake – Willow River who are second in the sub section with a 8-1 record and a QRF ranking right behind the defending section 7AA champion Esko Eskomos.

Hannah Walker and Morgan Pracher each added 7 points for the Rebels in the win, Ally Bodie and Lauren Ross each chipped in with 6, Ava Szczyrbak scored 5 points and Libbie Ring and Jenna Ramberg each ended with 3.

The Blue Devils were led by Lexy Ahrens who finished with 15 points for Virginia. The Blue Devils fall to 8-7 on the season and 5-5 in sectional play.
